Drone Club News

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our new Drone Club, which started in April and has quickly become a hub of innovation and collaboration in the DT Department. Students of all ages are coming together in teams to design and create the fastest and most durable drones, demonstrating impressive teamwork and technical skills. 

The enthusiasm and dedication of our students is truly inspiring as they have been working tirelessly outside of lessons to expand their knowledge in this exciting field. Their commitment is already yielding remarkable results, with each team making significant progress in developing their unique drone designs. As we approach the end of Term 6, anticipation is building for the grand event: the drone races. These will be held on the school field, where teams will compete to see who can complete a set number of laps the fastest and, hopefully, bring their drone across the finish line in one piece. 

This event promises to be a thrilling showcase of our students' creativity, engineering prowess, and competitive spirit. We are confident that the Drone Club will continue to thrive and grow, fostering a passion for technology and innovation amongst our students.
