Girls' Rugby - Term 2 update

Girls' Rugby - Term 2 update

This year girls’ rugby has been popular and from the start of the season the team has improved immensely and has built up a fair understanding of the sport. Which is impressive as many of the girls never played rugby before. This term the girls have participated in 4 fixtures with winning one. The girls had the chance to play against Campion School, where they demonstrated a vast array of skills and as a team they got an amazing 24-19 win. The team ended the term, with a tough fixture against Sir Joseph Williamson's Mathematical School, unfortunately ending in a loss but put up a good fight. If the girls keep performing well and putting in the effort, they could have a very good season ahead!
