Bright Sparx!

A number of our students were recognised by SPARX for their commitment and achievement over the past academic year. They have written about the impact of SPARX below.

Throughout this year I have been using Sparx maths to help me develop my math skills. Sparx maths is very useful for me as it has features like asking for help which will give me an explanation on how to solve that certain type of question. I also like the independent learning feature as this enables me to focus on the topics that I struggle on or that I need to practice more. While doing my homework the questions come up with increasing levels of difficulty. It will start by giving you easy questions to help you understand the topic and by the end it will give you harder questions to test your understanding. I think that Sparx maths is a really useful website to help you with math topics. Adrian D'Silva 8P

I find Sparx is one of the most beneficial homework sites this school has, because not only does it teach us what we have learnt but it also teaches us what we are learning and going to learn which helps us be more prepared. Sparx has helped me in Maths because the weekly assignments help to build important knowledge of the contents in GCSE Maths so that I can build on any areas that I am not as strong in. I have used Sparx Maths weekly for assignments and extra assignments that you can use for revision for any upcoming tests as they are to do with content you are currently learning. Also the independent learning section is amazing for building on weaker topics that you struggle most on. How this can help me in Year 11 for my GCSEs is again about the Independent Learning section where you can view all the topics included for your GCSE. You can complete practice questions to do with them so you can look for any topics you want and choose the levels of difficulty for each topic. Overall, Sparx Maths is a great tool that supports my learning and helps to benefit and strengthen my subject knowledge for Maths - Finlay Chantry 10M
